Claims-Conduct Intelligence

The policyholder side's answer to carrier claims-intelligence.

Insurers have an entire industry of claims-intelligence tools telling them how to handle your client's claim. The professionals representing policyholders have had anecdote. DAIS built the missing half — aggregate, anonymized analytics on how carriers actually behave on claims, from the public regulatory record.

Why this category exists
One side of every claim has been flying blind.

Every insurance carrier prices, routes, and negotiates claims with the help of aggregated data about claimants, attorneys, and outcomes. The other side of the table — trial lawyers, public adjusters, mediators, litigation funders — has never had the mirror image: systematic, market-level intelligence on carrier conduct. That record exists. Regulators collect complaints, resolve them, and publish the results. DAIS assembles it, scores it, and delivers it as decision-ready aggregate intelligence. We call the category claims-conduct intelligence, and it belongs to the policyholder side.

How it works
Propensity bands, not war stories.

Every carrier in a covered state is scored from regulator-published complaint and resolution data, then placed into a conduct-propensity band relative to its market. Where a carrier has enough volume for a statistically reliable read, we report a point estimate with a confidence tier. Where the data is thin, we report a band — never a false-precision number. And if a data cell is too small to anonymize safely, it doesn't ship at all. The result is a calibrated read on where a carrier stands relative to its peers — by state, by line — grounded entirely in the public record.

The signal

Conduct-propensity bands

Which carriers draw disproportionate justified complaints. Which resolve cleanly. Ranked against the market, not in isolation.

The discipline

Confidence tiers on every score

Statistical confidence is reported, not implied. Thin data gets a band and says so. No score pretends to know more than the record supports.

The guarantee

Aggregate and anonymized, always

Market-level patterns about institutions — never dossiers on individuals. Cells too small to anonymize safely are suppressed before anything reaches you.

What you get
Per-state claims-conduct profiles.

Each profile covers a state's carrier market: the conduct-propensity rankings, the point-estimate carriers with confidence tiers, complaint-mix patterns by line, and a plain-language methodology section your expert — or the other side — can scrutinize. Founding Members also receive the rolling conduct-trend signal: not just where a carrier stands, but which way it's moving. A sample claims-conduct profile is available on request.
