Where the data comes from.

DAIS is built on public records and licensed data — sources that are legally obtained, independently verifiable, and maintained by government agencies and regulated institutions. No hacking, no gray-market data aggregators, no individual personal records.

How we use these sources
From records to intelligence.

Raw public records are not intelligence. DAIS applies a structured pipeline — ML entity resolution, de-identification, pattern detection, and benchmarking — to turn fragmented records into market-level insight. The Methodology page describes that process in detail.

01

Public-record ingest

Data is collected from public sources through authorized access channels — bulk export programs, open APIs, public records requests, and licensed data feeds.

02

Entity resolution

ML probabilistic record linkage links fragmented entities across sources — contractor subsidiaries, carrier affiliates — into unified portfolio records for meaningful analysis.

03

Aggregate-only output

All DAIS intelligence outputs are aggregate and anonymized — patterns across populations, not records about individuals. DAIS does not deliver individualized personal records.
